Düsseldorf’s Christmas Market, one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany, casts a spell on Düsseldorf’s city centre and turns it into a unique experience for visitors.

The Christmas magic is individually staged at six locations simultaneously. In the city centre, artistically designed theme worlds invite visitors on a trip of exploration. Seasonally decorated huts will for five weeks turn the city into a winter’s fairy tale for the whole family.

Each Market has an individual theme for instance, on Markplatz, you’ll find nostalgic huts offering arts & crafts; on Schadowplatz you’ll find a lot of activities for children such as the Christmas merry-go-round and reindeer; and the Konigsallee features more than a thousand lights illuminating the huge chestnut trees..

Opening times: Daily from 11.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. (Sundays to Thursdays) and to 9.00 p.m. (Fridays and Saturdays). Closed on Sunday, 20 November (Sunday commemorating the dead)!
